Stamp Fairy - Mimi Falltime

Happy Saturday!

Today, I am a guest designer at My Sherri Crafts.  How cool is that?  I was the winner of the apple or pumpkin challenge last week.  The new challenge at My Sheri Crafts is Fall colors with 3 embellishments.

I used an image from Stamp Fairy called Mimi Falltime.  I just found this digi site last week and fell in love with all the cute images.  I thought she would be perfect for this challenge.  I just love the movement in this image - her blowing dress, hair and leaves.
The patterned papers are Simple Stories "Take a Hike".  Her dress is paper pieced.  And I used a sketch #169 from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Happy Thursday!

There is a new rubber stamp release at Little Miss Muffet today.  These images are available in real red rubber not digi!  I made a super simple card today and used "Royal Decree".

PaperTrey Ink - Autumn Hills

Happy Saturday!

Today, I have two similar cards using a PaperTrey Ink set - Autumn Hills.  This is the October card for the home-bound ministry that went out this week.  A simple card that was easy to mass produce.  So much so I made some birthday cards too.  Love when that happens - a design can be used for multiple occasions this month and into the next.
The blue block background is an old TAC set "Background Builders", which had solid block squares, rectangles and circles - perfect for the blue sky.  I used PTI "Spring Rain" ink.

The tree and sentiment (both) are from Autumn Hills and stamped using PTI "Dark Chocolate" ink.  I colored the leaves of the tree with scarlet red colored pencil.
The hill was created with a PTI die "In the Meadow" and Ivy Bazzill cardstock.  The base card for the first card is PTI Kraft and this one is PTI "Spring Rain".  The woodgrain paper is from A|Muse.

Supplies --
Images: PTI Autumn Hills, TAC Background Builders

Colored Pencil: Scarlet Red

Little Miss Muffet: Celeste Fairy

Happy Thursday!

There is a new release today at Little Miss Muffet - new Halloween themed digis and a brand new banner die too!  This is Celeste Amberglow Fairy by Pollycraft.  She is a sweet fairy princess.  The patterned papers are from Fancy Pants "Childish Things".  I thought this paper was perfect with the castle and frog prince (see second card).
The Party Banner is a new die released today, I thought it went perfect with this image carrying through the hearts and stars.  The cardstock for the banner is a linen texture ivory. The colored hearts and stars are the cut outs I colored with Copic markers and set back into the banner.

I have a sneak peek card for this banner that was posted Tuesday, using Paprika as Raggedy Ann.  See it HERE in case you missed that post.
This is a layered image. I printed out the image twice, colored the background on the base image, colored the image of the second, cut it out and layered it on the base image.

This next card is actually the first card layout I made.  When I sketched this layout I had the flower paper in front but that blocked the castle and frog so I put it behind.  Then, I could not get the banner to work.  It was late.  The next morning {after I took these pictures} I realized that if I switched the papers and was able to use the banner I created.  Anyway, I like the frog in this one.
I stole the colored and matted image from this card and put it on the new layout with the banner at the top of the post.
I added some sparkle to the crown, star, wings and tutu skirt with Spica pens.  This picture shows the sparkle the best.

Supplies --
Image: Little Miss Muffet "Celeste Amberglow Fairy" by Pollycraft
Die: Little Miss Muffet "Party Banner"
Patterned Paper: Fancy Pants "Childish Things"
Cardstock: Bazzill Artesian Pool
Accents: Spica Buttermilk and Clear pens
Copic Colors: E00, E11, E13, E21, R02, R22, R24, R29, YR00, YR04, YR12, YR21, YR23, YR24, YR68, BG10, BG45, BG53, YG23, 0

I used it as a double layer, with the solid behind to accentuate the hearts and stars.  I used 3 different papers the patterned, red and ivory.

The image is Little Miss Muffet Paprika as Raggedy Ann.  Love this image, she came out this summer.  The patterned papers are Simple Stories "Summer Fresh".  The sentiment is even from the paper pack!

The Craft's Meow - Hope Blooms

Today, I have a sympathy card to share.  I created it for my friend Karen, her dad passed away suddenly Monday.  The image and sentiment are from The Craft's Meow - Hope Blooms.  The papers are TAC "Catelynne" available at RRD.
I stamped the flower on the green patterned paper with Memento ink and then added come copic marker, YG95, YG97.  The petals were stamped on X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copics R32, R35, R37. The colored image was cut out and added to the green cardstock.  The Kraft cardstock is from PTI.
I really liked the design of this card, the sentiment could be anything, so I made a Birthday Card too for a friend at church. The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from Biblical Impressions.
